Spaces to Slow Down

Living & Lounging

A place to put your feet up, settle in with a good book and enjoy the simple pleasures of doing very little.

With the living room open to the kitchen and dining area, you can keep chatting from your spot by the fire as dinner comes together. On warmer days, fold back the glass-panelled doors to the leafy garden beyond.

The daybed nook catches the morning light and is a lovely spot for your first cup of tea. There’s a television discreetly tucked away here as well.

Made for Gathering

Kitchen & Dining

At the heart of the cottage is our handcrafted timber kitchen, lovingly created from reclaimed boat timbers.

With a generous 90cm Smeg oven and a well-equipped kitchen, you will find everything needed to prepare a leisurely breakfast, cook up a feast, or simply gather around the table for a meal together.

A Good Night’s Sleep

The Bedrooms

Two inviting queen bedrooms, each thoughtfully styled with beautiful linens, soft layers and a little old-world charm.

With plush mattress toppers, natural merino wool duvets, and electric blankets for chilly mountain nights, everything is considered for a restful night’s sleep and a slow start to the morning.

Time for Yourself

The Bathroom

A little sanctuary to retreat to, with a deep clawfoot bath, endless hot water, and a generous walk-in shower.

Cosy underfloor heating, handmade tiles and warm brass details add to the comfort, while natural bath salts and soaps, specially made for us in Tasmania, sit alongside Aesop toiletries to make even the simplest daily rituals feel like a little indulgence.

A Little Fresh Air

The Verandah & Garden

From a morning cuppa on the front verandah to leisurely afternoons on the covered back deck, there is always a little spot to enjoy the fresh Mountain air.

Settle into the cane lounge chairs, find a sunny spot on the built-in bench or gather round the outdoor dining table for a meal together. Beyond the deck, a leafy garden and large open lawn offer a little more room to stretch out and unwind.
